I am Lucy. Fifteen years ago I fell in love with polymer clay and have spent more than half of my life creating from this material, learning, teaching, and sharing my skills with others.

During that time I have developed my own style based on custom colors, simplicity, clean lines, and geometric shapes. I love working on details, that may not be visible to everyone, but are truly important to me.

Even though after ten years with this material, there is still an incredible amount of things I would like to create and try. That's what I love about this journey.

As I have spent more and more time in the polymer clay community, organized my first events, a few years ago, and have been teaching my own classes, all of that evolved into publishing a magazine dedicated to the clay, worldwide artists, interviews, tutorials, articles and lot of inspiration with every new issue.

We have published twenty issues so far and there is still a lot to explore. Connecting artists who love this material and are happy to share their knowledge and inspiration makes me very happy.

I very often collaborate with other entrepreneurs and brands and help them with photography, social media, and visual identity.

Hello from my polymer clay studio 🧡

A lot is going on behind the scenes. Every single day starts early and ends quite late, as we are getting ready for Polymer Week 2026, finishing the launch of so many new products, preparing exciting surprises and new class projects along the way, and of course, putting together this year’s Christmas Advent Calendar.

I’m excited to have you on this journey with us. 🎉

Somehow, between all the September craziness, I managed to finish these earrings and a tutorial for the British Polymer Clay Guild and their event happening this weekend. ❤️

I’m excited to share with you how to create these loop earrings, made simply from white and translucent polymer clay, with color added using pigments and glass inclusions.

We’ll also create a decoration with Czextruder from @lucyclaytools that adds another layer of detail to the design.

There are many little things coming together in these earrings, which, in the end, I baked about ten times in the oven. 🙈 So the process is a bit tedious, but the result is quite playful and opens up so many possibilities for different variations.

I may know quite a lot about polymer clay, but honestly, I know absolutely nothing about baking or decorating cakes. So this was quite a challenge, but a fun one! 🥳

Even though we originally designed the Czextruder for polymer clay, it can technically be used with many other materials too. 👀

So here’s a little experiment from decorating my little brother’s cake for his 10th birthday. I was honestly surprised by how well it turned out, especially the way the fondant colors blended together. 🎉

I still have a lot to learn about sculpting with polymer clay, but this project is such a great balance between sculpture and jewellery design. Kind of my favourite! 💛
